KAYLA - ENGLISH TEACHER
Angela: How have you felt about the lessons recently? Your overall feedback on the lessons with me?
Kayla: I love the games. I'm such a kid, but those are always my favorite, like the ones with the dice, when it's just different conversation topics. Those are my absolute favorite. But, I don't know, maybe it's my laziness as a student. I just really enjoy talking. Studying grammar is important, but I enjoy interesting conversations with different prompts the most.
Angela: Yeah, the conversation board games would be perfect for you, like the ones you mentioned.
Kayla: Right, but I think part of it is just enjoying talking to you too, which makes the lessons really fun.
Angela: Yeah, that's great. We have to come back to those games because recently it's been too serious. Your Spanish is getting so good that I don't use as many games to make it appealing anymore. But I do use games to keep the student motivated. Right now, you're at a high level. I'm a little more like, "Okay, you have to prepare this."
Kayla: But I need it. That's one of the downsides of my personality as a student.
Angela: Let's keep the balance. Let's incorporate more games again, back to those good times. We have this conversation game we can use. That's always a good one. Perfect.
